Dribble Guard was created by Inventors, Derrick & Kimberly Earls on May 16, 2016. In our daughter’s 6th grade year, she decided to join her school basketball team. Due to her athleticism, she progressed extremely fast, and the same year, she joined a top Girls AAU Basketball Team. During practice, we noticed that most of the players consistently looked down as they dribbled, and missed numerous opportunities.

Apparatus for Restricting Head Movement
After working with the Coach for 3 days, she briefly stopped looking down, but eventually went back to the bad habit of looking down as she dribbled. During an Out of State Tournament during the weekend of May 6-7th 2016, we lost several games due to the lack of passing from players looking down as they dribbled, therefore we first searched a product to assist, aside from the normal dribbling glasses on the market without success, then created our own training tool to assist players with this bad habit.
